I don't understand how NBC picked some random third grade writers for a prime time slot TV show. This is pathetic to say the least. The characters are imaginary (a gay paramedic?). The stories are idiotic, and most annoying is the fact that they had to create some fake reality in order to find drama from EMS. How about try getting someone with actual talent and experience to write your scripts for you, someone who looks the part, and someone who is an actual EMS provider with experience. You don't get to shove this crap down people's throats who have actually been in the back of the ambulance and know the real difference. You want reality? How about the fact that 'real' emergency patients never get to see their paramedic work on them? Try working around that concept maybe you will get the message.
