Red Dwarf - Not as we know it but still funny., 13 April 2009

I was expecting this to be absolutely terrible. The first episode seemed a little strained and forced but it was just setting up for next two episodes that were hilarious as they were intriguing.

Admittedly the humour was very different, it was far dryer with more parody and with a huge welcome homage to blade runner. Very amusing with impressive visuals.

It certainly won't be every Red Dwarf's fan cup of tea but I would welcome a continuation of the series based on this special. It was hilarious but in a completely different way from before. Looking back it was the only way it could have went given that loads of plot scenarios had been used up and all the obvious curry and salute jokes had been exhausted (even though they were funny).

Thank you Dave. Please make another new series of this because British telly is crap at the moment and this is better than everything else despite the complaints.
