Quotes:
Helen Foster: Half the time I'm not sure if he knows we're even in the same room.
Sally Williams: Maybe he just doesn't know weather you're interested in him or not? Maybe he's just waiting... for the right time?
Helen Foster: I keep making right times for him. Maybe I've just got it wrong. Maybe friendship is as far as we can go. I just always felt a connection. The first day I saw him I couldn't help but sit daydreaming. I don't think he notices me.
Sally Williams: No way. I've seen how he looks at you. You've just got too... you know, help him out some more - it's down to you Hel. If he ain't got the brains to figure out what you're thinking, you need to show him! You know all men are the same...

What a great little film!, 23 December 2008
10/10
Author: Donna Bailey from United Kingdom

I was lucky enough to attend the world premiere of monkeyshine in Kettering in November 08', after my drama club got hold of some tickets, and although I had seen stuff about it in the paper, I didn't really know what to expect, and didn't hold my breath, but in fact I was pleasantly surprised, as for a low-budget film shot in the local area, it really is very good!

It was great to see local locations used in a 'proper' film, and it was cool to see some people I recognised in it too! Though it was clearly low-budget, the hard work by the filmmakers is obvious, and it paid off, as it has a clear plot (and a great prop), that make the film really enjoyable, and I can't wait to get it on DVD!
