Factual errors: The car in which the "sniper" drove away in was a third generation Chevy Caprice. These were made from 1977-1990. In the debriefing, the Colonel states that the glass left behind was identified as having come from a GM vehicle manufactured between 1996-2002. In fact the next generation Caprice was made from 1991-1996. It was the big bubble style that was used by so many police departments before the Ford Crown Victoria became the "crown jewel" of police departments, after GM did away with the line-up. The caprice line-up was revived in 1999, but for a small car sold in the Middle East. moreFAQ
