Fun Stuff

Trivia:

Pvt. Cobb is using an MP-40, a German weapon. In areas of short supply, when a soldier lost his weapon (as was somewhat common on a drop), they would use enemy weapons. more

Goofs:

Anachronisms: Private Miller is chastised by Cobb for wearing a "presidential unit citation" even though the replacement soldier did not fight in Normandy to earn the award. This citation was not called the "presidential" citation until 1966, when the award was initiated in the 1940's it was called the "Distinguished Unit Citation". more

Quotes:

Richard Winters: They're bombing Eindhoven.
Cpt. Nixon: Yea.
Richard Winters: Come on Nix, I'm takin' you in for the night.
Cpt. Nixon: They won't be wavin' so many orange flags at us tomorrow.
