Nothing fancy, B movie fun, 18 June 2009
7/10
Author: helenc693 from United States

If you're a fan of B movies, especially horror movies or thrillers, The Cell 2 will be right up your alley. I didn't really get what this even had to do with the first Cell movie; this one is completely different and has nothing that I could tell in common with it. So if you are looking for another visuals-centric movie that will mess with your mind, this isn't what you want. But if you like old-fashioned horror thrillers with lots of kills, good action, and a cool twist ending, you'll like this. I think most of the bad reviews this gets is because it is so different from the first Cell. It has a lower budget than the first one, with totally different characters and plot. Watch it if you want an entertaining thriller, not a visual masterpiece.
