This movie was actually pretty good.
It is not really a sequel to the Cell so much as just borrowing the name. You don't have J-Lo's character in this one. The actress you do have is a lot hotter than J-Lo, actually. You also have a pretty effective villain, and some good action scenes.
The "inside the mind" shots are not as elaborate as the ones we saw in the original. This is a Direct to DVD thing, after all, with a much more limited budget.
There are parts that strain credulity- the whole scene at the end with the Helicopter. Wow, the killer is a cop, and EMT AND a qualified helicopter pilot! But overall, the script is tight, the characters interesting and it was fun to watch.
