The show was dedicated to the memory of actor Christopher Allport, who played Andrew Campbell in the series, and who died earlier in the year this episode first aired in an avalanche while snowboarding. In this episode, his character is killed in a plane crash. more
Goofs:
Anachronisms: While Don is in the Asian restaurant, Sukiyaki plays on the TV soundtrack. While the song was recorded as "Ue o muite aruko" in 1961 in Japan, it wasn't released in the US until 1963 - and the episode is set during the first week in March 1962 after the tragic American Airlines crash. Coincidentally, Sukiyaki was recorded by Kyû Sakamoto who later died in the crash of Japan Airlines Flight 123 on August 12, 1985. more
