I watched this movie with no expectations and although I did not think it was all that funny I did appreciate what these guys did with only 35,000 bucks. (I know that from a source on production).
This movie was made by two guys who decided to just make a movie, and hats off to them because it's in about every video store in the USA, Germany, Poland. So any young filmmaker can appreciate it.
This movie is not trying to win Oscars, not trying to get good reviews, and it def. won't, but what it did was make the film makers money and they will come back with a better I am sure of it. Considering they pretty much had to shoot this in about one general location.
The script is not good, a lot of jokes that are not funny and very cliché, like it was an old man writing the stuff, jokes that were funny about 15 years ago. and Yes, the girls that get nude are not good looking, beware.
The acting I didn't find to be anything out of the ordinary from a low low budget film with no stars attached. There were times where it was obvious they were playing for camera, but there was a couple of characters in it I did like.
A big positive, I think the Pledging scene in the movie is really good, it reminds me of my college days. (maybe not that extreme)
I do think the movie it's self had a good moral meaning by the end, but it's a meaning that you could read on a dang bumper sticker, there was no creative genius behind it.
Overall I give it a 5 because I can appreciate making a movie, full length with almost no movie and these guys got it done from start to finish and that alone is a huge accomplishment if you have ever done it. And they got distribution. The writers writing this knew the movie kind of sucked, but they know it would sell and thats exactly what it did.
No studio green lit this, a couple of dudes from Grand Rapids, MI did. Kudos.
- worth a quick watch and forget about it in my opinion, it's not as bad as the reviews says it is, only people who think it really sucked are gonna write reviews, not people who somewhat enjoyed the 90 min and forget about it afterwards
