Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Lindsey attempts suicide on the dock by wrapping a rope around her neck and pulling on both ends. In reality the obstruction of the carotid artery would stop blood flow to the brain and she would lose consciousness before she would have been able to kill herself.

Well, After Dark have finally done it. This is the first film they've picked up that is truly outstanding all around. It is well shot, acted and scripted.
This was the first American horror film to genuinely scare, thrill and shock me in ages. There is some dialogue that falls flat here and there, but it is overall an excellent flick.
People are criticizing this film by accusing it of portraying ALL Christians as evil morons. Hello? The lead character is a bright, sweet and totally charming Christian girl (as is her best friend). I think more than anything, the film shows how life can get ugly in a secluded environment.
This is not only the best and most chilling After Dark film I have ever seen, it is one of the best American horror films I have seen in a looooong time.
