The beginning of volume 4 was excellent, but it has gotten downhill since. However, with this episode the tides just maybe changing. While this was just an okay episode compared to the episodes we've seen on this show before,it had certain great moments that managed to surprise and excite me.Sylar's father using that weird siren song power was the first surprising moment on this show for quite some time.I had been reserving my judgement on Sylar's side quest until his meeting with his father, but it was everything i hoped for. Finally,Sylar has a clear motive for grander things.Samson gray's dialogues reminded me of Linderman's speech to Nathan about a life of meaning, which encouraged Nathan to go for the presidency. With Story lines, hints and rumours all pointing towards a possible "Five Years Gone" future we saw in season one,Samson's speech maybe indicating why Sylar went after the presidency in that timeline.Angela petrelli's confrontation with Danko was very satisfactory.Cristine rose is indeed a great actress and her character is one of the few best written one's of the show. Some of the other story lines, however were not that good.Claire's attempt to help Doyle was too predictable and boring. That scene where Doyle attacks the female agent had no urgency or emotion. Also predictable was Danko pushing Nathan out of the window.Overall it's a mediocre, verging on good episode. With Bryan Fuller coming back in the next episode, things just maybe looking up for Heroes.
