A guy dressed with angels wings is found dead in the aisle in a big Catholic church. Where did he fall from? Also, what was that quick scene with a woman whose's face was burned all about? "Don't let this happen to you," or something like that, and they they switch to the scene in the church where two altar boys find the dead body.

Well, we find out fairly soon that the woman, and the "angel" who died were just internet stunt freaks, like Jackass type idiots who got injured doing dumb things. However, the guy with the angel wings was drunk and more importantly, was murdered as his bungee cord that was attached to the wings, was cut.

There are all kinds of stories in this episode which really involves as "cold case" from 10 years ago in Philadelphia. (Apparently this episode tied into a "Cold Case" one - another CBS crime show.)

It was interesting to see Mykelti Williamson, one of the stars of "Boomtown," a great show that NBC cancelled a few years ago, and a guy I've seen in several films over the years. He plays the chief of detectives here, "Brigham Sinclair," a guy working with Mac's nasty new boss, "Inspector Stanton Gerrard."

Both Stella and Mac, for much of this show, are innocent people being subjected to all kinds of baloney and they aren't happy about it. Gary Sinise is good at playing a ticked-off guy, I guess something he honed in his strange character in the movie "Forrest Gump."

Stella has to go back to her childhood "blood sister" to solve her case and Mac has to keep dealing with a recent case that not only has his superiors on his case but one his workers - Don Flack, too. In real life, I wonder if this guy would be in trouble for the way he has been talking to his boss, but "Mac" seems to put us all this flack from Flack. Maybe Eddie Cahill is going to leave the show. It almost looks like he's headed off the way he's been acting. I remember that happened to Vanessa Ferlito's character "Aiden" after the first CSI-NY season.

In all, this episode was a little too complicated in spots, at least in Stella's "case." The bungee jumper was a guy who wanted to be famous and known as the "human slingshot." Unfortunately, his plan was a little bit flawed!
