This is one of almost 100 short films that were recently posted on IMDb for viewing in the US. Hopefully the licensing agreements can be worked out and these will be posted for viewing abroad in the near future--especially since this is one terrific short!!
The film begins with a mousy older man, Martin, being bullied by a coworker. Later, on the way home, he's knocked down by some young punks. Then, when he goes back to the store where he just bought a lamp, they refuse to give him an exchange or refund. It seems that poor old Martin can't catch a break! Later, he goes to a business run by a man named "Burnout". Burnout appears to be an out of work pimp or bouncer and he is one cool but scary man. He and his "girls" teach Martin how to be cool, tough and aggressive. Soon, you see Burnout, the ladies and Martin going to work--where they exact justice on the bully. Then, they do the same with the rest of the thoughtless jerks in Martin's life! This is absolutely hilarious--especially when Martin turns into a short and White version of Shaft!!
Ultimately, the film ended on a very high note (with an excellent ending open to multiple interpretations) and I found that I haven't laughed this hard in weeks. What a great film and I have absolutely NOTHING negative to say about it. See this film!!!
