Nothing to do with the Mary Shelley novel, 11 February 2009
Author: (tinuvielas@stuerzerleuschner.de) from Hamburg, Germany

Haven't seen the flick, thus no vote, but from what I read it's got nothing whatsoever to do with the Mary Shelley novel, which is mainly about losing everyone you hold dear – friends, family, children – in one long, inevitable, slow, drawn-out loss of human life and civilization. No fighting for supplies in the book either – there's enough for everyone, on the contrary, the poor finally live like kings –, but you do get some religious fanatics. Just thought I'd throw this in for information, whoever cares. Actually, the book would merit a well-made film – but please not updated... Just using the title-characters name doesn't make it "Mary Shelley's Last Man"...
