The American title, "Dragon Knight" is a direct translation of it's Japanese counterpart title, "Kamen Rider Ryûki" (2002).

Another horrible Americanization of Kamen Rider

It seems that Toei has given America another chance at Kamen Rider, and I believe after this horrible show, it is the last one we'll get. The actors mispronounce the word "Kamen" which makes it sound like "Common Rider" which just ruins the whole experience. They should have just translated it into Masked Rider, like Saban did back in the day. I'm a big fan of the Kamen Rider series, Den-O being one of my most favorites. And now this Dragon Knight series has destroyed any chance of a decent Den-O translation, or Americanization. Thank you Mike Wang, for killing Kamen Rider for Americans. There had been some talk between some friends of mine and I about purchasing the rights to Den-O to make an American adaptation, and staying as true to the original story and episodes as possible, just with English speaking actors. But now, there is no hope for that.
