Make no mistake, this is not a film about S&M per se and it's not intentionally erotic, it's a comedy about role playing, mind control, split personalities and expecting the unexpected.
Lelee Sobieski plays a girl who just can't stay out of trouble. Everything she touches breaks, she has a never ending stream of bad luck that throws her from one hopeless situation into the next.
What makes 'Walk All Over Me (2007)' truly great is the writing and directing, which are in the great tradition of old school comedy, when nobody had to think about political correctness. Everything that happens, from the violence, the dominatrix role play, the video contact ads to Miss Sobieski's driving is hilariously funny.
The characters and their stories are quite enjoyable and the bad things that happen to them are pictured in such an amusing way, one almost can't feel sorry for any of them, but just laugh and laugh and laugh.
'Walk All Over Me (2007)' is a very good acted, moderately dark comedy. It has a very good story flow and is definitely worth a watch.
