If you've seen any Korean cinema recently, the likes of A Bittersweet Life or may be one of Park Chan-wook's films and you have enjoyed them, then you should love this too, from the violence (Korean Style) that spills off the screen to the shocking and unexpected plot that keeps you wide eyed from start to finish.
This is a film about three teenagers that grew up in a life of rival gangs and constant fights through school, and now their trying to make it in the big world. But what will penetrate you in this movie is the look into each of the three boys personal life, which all pack heavy emotion into this dark and at times quite outrageous affair.
What might surprise you then is that this film does not deal with the harsh fatalities and emphasis on the constant worry of a gangster life, but is in fact generally much more light hearted and humanistic than most gang films, and this makes room for some great humour and a fresh new take on the gangster film, not to mention the fight scenes are excellent as they are in most Korean movies.
