Continuity: When the pastor and the kids arrive at the trailer park it is raining quite heavily. However, when they are taken to their sleeping quarters, and indeed the rest of the movie, the dirt is dry and dust is continually kicked up.

Would have benefited greatly from removal of the "torture" scene.

Well, as a comic book nerd and a huge horror movie fan, this one was a gimme. I had to see it. I read some reviews saying that it was a decent 'new horror flick' and those words are rarely in the same sentence for me, so I thought hey, prove me wrong.

This one really had me going for the first hour and fifteen mins, I was hooked. I really liked the set up, the plot and all the characters. Minimal teeny-bopper crud in this one, it's a group of 'troubled youths' accompanied by a pastor, (played by cousin Brian from "The Sopranos" btw) going on a little weekend camping trip. They break down and stumble upon this horrible place, where rednecks and Asian massage therapists rule, where zombies and ghouls terrorize the living. Pretty awesome. Good gore, good lines...not unlike "House of 1000 Corpses" on originality.

It lost me though, when we are given what seems to be the REQUIRED torture scene that was so out of place it was ridiculous, towards the end. Some kid was locked in a chair, being tortured by a big crazy person; it started going down that "Wolf Creek" road for a few minutes and I hit fast forward. Not that that stuff upsets me, I find it boring and cheap. It's not scary and I just don't think it's cool. I saw "Hostel" and got plenty of that.

Trace Adkins freakin rules! I wanna see that dude in some more movies.
