I was the student that was interviewed in this film "Lonzo Forester" about how Pearl's presence at my school, Coker College, has helped me adjust to college life. Pearl and I converse weekly about this film and how excited we were when, the directors, Scott and Brent decided to interview me individually. I have been searching on IMDb since 2006 to see if the film was finally recognized, and I am happy to be among the first to comment. I'm a bit of a movie buff, so I know a great movie when I see one, and "A man named Pearl" was done with such care, by the directors, that I am Extremely proud to have been apart of it. This man not only changed my life, but the life of his hometown. I urge fellow movie-goers, like myself, to see this documentary. Thanks Pearl!
