Los Bastardos begins with a bang and ends with it.The tale is a common crime drama but this time around,it is sensational not in its reasoning and eventuality,but as an isolated happening that leaves the mind pondering over its moral underbelly.In between are fleeting moments that assure you of its predictability but alas,only to baffle you with its contortions.So what you see is not what is meant to be believed in.Two innocuous Mexican immigrants and an evening they decide to spend visiting the poor lady across the road turns out to be a ride in hell.But you would expect that,only that Los Bastardos does it in a way where the 'sides' of the story blend into one another.A good film.
