Tinkerbell lost everything, 29 November 2008
Author: Ana Cunha from Portugal

Don't get me wrong but I did not like this. It destroyed the wonderful and lovable Tinkerbell known for her strong personality and jealous side. She is fascinating because she doesn't need to talk to express her feelings, she just needs to act, just like in a silent picture. J.M.Barrie created a marvelous fairy, beautiful, selfish but with a mellow and sweet side, in his masterpiece 'Peter Pan', a lot of versions of this fabulous novel/play were released and Tink was never voiced before (I think she wasn't) because she is mainly known for not talking, she has always been charismatic because of the way she acted. Even in the Walt Disney's version of the story Tinkerbell had the right expressions and moods (thanks to Margaret Kerry who modeled for Tink!) so why Tinkerbell is talking now? Why the hell? She is such a cheesy character in this movie, sweet, mellow, nice, kind, so unlikeable! Where is the charming Tinkerbell? Full of life and energy with spirit and ambition. This movie killed, being Tinkerbell biggest fan on the planet! Yes, this movie is charming and delightful with a quite funny and entertaining story for all the family with a lot of enjoyable moments and magical animation. However, it's a very sad thing for me to see Tinkerbell being destroyed and that's why I hated this movie. Young kids will love it, for sure! Although parents will be annoyed if they love Tinkerbell and her adventures.
