I'm a legend, not real, 12 March 2009

For some lesbians, coming out is a process rather than a transient self-recognition no matter how justifiable it is since being gay may stem from the genetic imprints of their parents. You may start from thinking that you still haven't met Mr. right while so many women around remind you of those sleazy and voluptuous dreams you ever had cluttered up with feminine symbols like red lips, rosy cheeks and wet whispers from Betty Bop. Then a special woman for you came up, and then another, and then another, and...Then you found you were too busy in thinking about a special female friend of you to delve into the question that whether you are gay or not. Then you told your Diary you are gay, and your vase, your towel, your Teddy bear, and finally, something alive-your Labrador Mr. Pea with the name that Diana Fairbanks' cat had~well, that's a progress. Ultimately, some may choose to live pride and out whereas the others, in no small proportion, can't help but succumb to the enormous pressure from their parents, boss and legislature, which takes precedence over their own well-being and happiness at last. However, despite different endings, every lesbian accomplished a process from being freaked out by the thought of kissing Kate the neighborer girl to "I can't think straight".

In this short, metaphors somewhat drive some viewers crazy: can't anyone stop speaking in riddles? Cockroaches?Pied piper? Money growing trees? What are all that have nothing to do with reality? Notwithstanding, it's those metaphors created a kind of intangible mystique entices viewers to replay the clip,to re-listen to the magic pipe enthralling cockroaches as well as the Blonde.

When you dawdle away your time with your boring boyfriend again in a particular day like every day else before, suddenly, a distinctive woman appears like a figure in a fairy tale emerges in front of you, who is so special and talented that she chases away all the sorrow and trivia in your life with playing a flute, who can turning killing cockroaches or the most trying futile things into a magical and romantic experience, and the most crucial, who seems to care for you. Then people around you heckle you with the question- "what kind of fancy of you is that? The pied piper is man." Afterall, no one believes the incredibly jovial feeling overwhelms you when she is around and even her existence begs question for them. Although your eccentric feelings sound more like one of those sapphic craps to most of people, her genuine look and reveries in which she makes you lose lead you to nowhere but a more intense curiosity towards her. Till the day that all her veils are revealed one by one in front of you, your pied piper no longer attracts you as a heroine with magical power but a mortal person who'd rather to be with you and live in reality even though that means to forgo her inscrutable power or everything she ever treasured in her life. You two carry a bag of money and a parcel of hope and expectation of new life in the future walking out of mysterious and dark forest into the broad expanse of earth under the sun, to a life without lies, hiding and dirty little secrets. Only the flute, which in the first place once made you that addicted to the scent in her blowing breath, the way her cheek puffed up while playing it, is still lying in the mysterious forest-somewhere no one knows except for you two. And that is what you'll always keep,in heart.

That story should be labeled as a fairy tale if I were a little girl.
