They're back!!!

Wolverine and the X-Men is very good and although it may not compare to X-Men (TAS) which is by far the best X-Men series to have aired on TV, Wolverine and the X-Men is still very enjoyable and definitely worth watching. Basically, professor X is in some kind of coma but is also in the future which at the time, is being dominated by Sentinels and it is up to the X-Men (in the present) to stop that future from happening. Whilst that is all going on, Wolverine tries to group the X-Men back together, fight against other mutants, not to mention the fight between mutants and humans, and of course, to find Jean who has mysteriously disappeared...

The good thing about this show is that it is not all comedy/fighting and whilst it does have a good load of combat and comedy etc, you can really get into the story lines of the episodes (which do not just focus on superhero vs villain) and of course, the characters who each gets their own episode. The animation is unique, different and more 3D! As of yet, the group consists of Wolverine (who is the leader), Cyclops, Emma Frost, Rogue, Iceman, Kitty, Beast, Storm, Nightcrawler and Forge. Other characters who are yet to join the X-Men (hopefully in season two) include Jean Grey, Colossus (who was seen in the first episode) and Gambit - come on!!! Wolverine is much more serious and does not, much to my disappointment, joke around so much. I always thought Scott should have been the leader but it doesn't seem right calling it Cyclops and the X-Men, does it? The fights are cool, fun to watch and more violent! In one episode, Wolverine almost stabs Kitty and also stabbed the Hulk in the back so don't expect to see a friendly Wolverine! However, blood is rarely shown. This show is very good. I think adults can enjoy it as well as like I said before, there is more to it than fighting/comedy! It is unique, has a good plot, and is fun to watch. It is not like X-Men (TAS) but give it a shot anyway. For now - 8/10.
