Trivia:
When Wilson is watching TV at House's apartment, he is scrolling through the shows that House has recorded on his DVR. Among them is one episode of the British TV series Blackadder, which featured Hugh Laurie. more
Goofs:
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): House, while making the case that the patient's wife is poisoning him, says that she hasn't left the hospital since the two of them arrived. Actually, she has left the hospital at least once; she was there when Foreman was in her house. more
Quotes:
Maria Palko:
Marriages don't fail because couples get bored. They fail because, while they're dating, people pretend to be the person they think their partner wants and then - well, there's only so long you can keep that up.
Dr. Allison Cameron:
Maybe they are that person when they're dating, but then they change.
Maria Palko:
People thinking their partner will change? That's another reason marriages fail. People don't change. At least not in any way that really matters.

Samantha "Broken Arrow" Mathis teaches the romantically misguided Cameron a hard lesson about love and fidelity in an episode that has a loving but swinging husband come down with what House swears must be "heavy metal" poisoning. Early in the episode, House announces he is convinced Mathis is slowly killing her husband, but how to prove it? And what is she doing it with? Tests for numerous substances get the team nowhere, and they are not convinced House has made the right diagnosis. Meanwhile, the husband keeps getting sicker. Mathis is fine as the apparently devoted and distraught wife, and she provides an Emmy-worthy moment with House as he confronts her and reveals her true nature near the end.
