There's a scene in the show with Elena and Sam in their office. Sam is checking out information on the computer about Claire's father. Elena then asks her if she has the surveillance picture of Claire and Ray pumping gas. Since this photo was supposed to be taken in Freehold, New Jersey, it is something that would not have happened. It is illegal to pump your own gas in the state of New Jersey. Add to that that Elena goes and gets a map of New Jersey and proceeds to claim that Freehold is only three exits away from Toms River, again, if you take the most direct route it would be on Route 9 and there are no exits on this highway. If you were to take the Garden State Parkway, then it would be more like 7 exits from one to the other. Somebody didn't do their homework about New Jersey.
