www.jimbronson.com Jim motors in to a small town, and is hit by the man who owns the whole town including the sheriff. The bus at 3:13 is bring a person from the towns past. Filmed in Olathe, Colorado.
When I saw this show in 1969, I had to have a big bike; I already had a Honda 350. I bought a 1970 Harley which was an AMF product and really a piece of junk. I pushed it more than it pulled me. But it was red and I got a seat like Jim had, rolled up my sleeping bag and strapped to the front handle bars, got a red helmet and dark sunglasses, and a Navy watch cap and took to the road that summer with my best friend. We went to Arkansas and thru Missouri. We got the evil eye from the red necks. But we had fun, the only thing that was a disappointment was that we met no girls, like Jim did in every town.
This is a great show, and will make you cry, these two people really loved each other in real life and it shows time and time again. Email me and let's chat, I want you to enjoy Then Came Bronson and pass on these great stories of right and wrong, and friendship to your kids. I have all 27 Episodes on DVD-R that I have collected over the last 15 years. See my Bronson tribute at www.jimbronson.com and hear the music Long Lonesome Highway, a Let's talk about them. Michael Parks is so cool! And he plays a bad guy in about every film he did after this one, his role in Twin Peaks, he was a mean dude.
I have always wondered who that guy was in the car at the stop light at the beginning of the show. Bud Ekins did the stunt motorcycle work, he was best friends with Steve McQueen, and stunt rode for him in The Great Escape. I have always wondered what the eye decal on the gas tank meant, the all Seeing Eye from a dollar bill? Yes, he mentions this is Ep. 15.
