My review of TNG's "Qpid", 31 May 2007
7/10
Author: James J. Kim-2 from Home is where the heart is...

Actress Jennifer Hetrick who played the part of "Vash" was great in TNG's "Captain's Holiday," but any other character could have taken her place as the damsel in distress in TNG's "Qpid" (Incidentally a favorite of mine, because I am a big fan of Errol Flynn's swashbuckling action film "The Adventures of Robin Hood" from 1938, which this episode is based on.) or as "the excuse" for Q to make an appearance on DS9 ("Q-less").

Interestingly, this is the episode where Jonathan Frakes (Commander William Riker seen here as "Little John") was injured by a stuntman, when a steel sword went through the wooden staff he was blocking with, and the tip of the sword scratched his cornea. Ouch! When he arrived at the hospital, the doctors were quite surprised to see a grown man dressed up as a "giant elf!" Funny story, but one of many for Mr. Frakes, who has been known for taking many risks, lumps, and bruises during his days as a thespian on the wildly popular TNG. :D
