Trivia:

One of the most controversial episodes ever made, for the way it shows the harsh realities of war in such an unflinching manner. The director, Winrich Kolbe was a Vietnam veteran, and used his experience when directing the episode. In essence, people fighting and killing each other for a piece of land not worth the blood that's shed.
