Trivia:
In three different versions of the script for "Forever Red", a Red Ranger was supposed to be killed off in the final battle. One version had the original Red Ranger, Jason Lee Scott (Austin St. John), killed in the final battle. In another, the Red Galaxy Ranger, Leo Corbett (Danny Slavin), dies in the finale. In a third version, the Red Alien Ranger, Aurico (David Bacon), was killed in the final battle. Each version of the script was quickly rejected, because BVS Entertainment did not want to upset kids or long-time fans with the death of a Red Ranger. moreGoofs:
Continuity: When Jason says "It's Morphin Time!" and he holds out his Power Morpher to become the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, look closely at the Tyrannosaurus Power Coin in the Morpher in the close-up shot. The Tyrannosauarus etched onto the coin has its head turned to its left. This is a mirrored image of the Tyrannosaurus, because the Tyrannosaurus insignia always has its head turned to its right, which is also seen in the archive footage of Jason morphing when he says "Tyrannosaurus!" moreQuotes:

All the red rangers from the previous Power Rangers seasons come back in this episode. I'm not going to give you a fully-bashing Forever Red review. I thought this episode could have been much better to be honest. It was very short and the plot wasn't so good. It was great seeing all the old rangers again, but you can't help being disappointed in an episode when it's much less than the average episode running time. It's ashame really, but It's worth watching for all the old rangers alone.
