A great final episode to the brilliant sixth series of 'Only Fools and Horses'

Rodney's wedding to Cassandra is soon coming up. He is depressed because he thinks he's failed a computer exam which would ruin his chances of being employed by Cassandra's Dad, Alan. Del is trying to sell some mobile phones which he bought from Mickey and Jevon. He has them on a sale or return bases. Rodney is a bit depressed because he and Cassandra have found a nice modern flat, but it needs a £6,000 deposit. Cassandra is putting £2,000 in from her savings, Cassandra's Mum and Dad put £2,000 in as a wedding present and Rodney has to get the last £2,000, but where does he get it from? Just as his luck seems right out, Del cheers him up by giving him the certificate which means he's passed his exam and saying he will give him £2,000 as a wedding present. There is trouble at the pub when Mickey and Jevon come in bandaged up, it is a friendly warning from the Driscoll Brothers, of whom they bought the phones off- on sale or return. They told them Del had the phones. Then the two arrive, Del, Mickey and Jevon run upstairs in the pub. For some reason, Trigger is also hiding 'I just followed you up here' Del then does come face to face with the Driscoll Brothers, they say they will give him a bit of time, then they want £2,000 for the phones. He gets the £2,000 from Boycie for some video recorders. The Driscoll Brothers come in the pub wanting there money, Del remembers the £2,000 is for Rodney's flat, the Driscoll Brothers or Rodney's flat, he goes for the latter, meaning he gets a good hiding from the Driscoll Brothers (he doesn't tell Rodney this). The wedding goes well, as does the reception.

A great episode that had so many fine moments. Such as Trigger following Del, Mickey and Jevon upstairs. Then of course there is the moment where the registrar says 'Rodney Charlton Trotter' Very funny, but today, particularly in soaps at weddings they try to give the male who is getting married a funny middle name to get a bit of a titter, but it doesn't make me laugh anymore, Liam and Maria's wedding on 'Coronation Street' springs to mind. This episode was very dramatic as well. Del takes a good hiding for Rodney, like he does in the series 2 episode 'No Greater Love' He also doesn't tell Rodney what he has done. The part where Rodney says goodbye to Del at the reception brings a tear to my eye every time. The Driscoll Brothers make a great performance in there only role in 'Only Fools and Horses' Boycie is a witness in them being sent down, so he has to move to the country in the spin off 'The Green Green Grass' In 2005, sixteen years after they'd played them in 'Only Fools' they appeared in 'The Green Green Grass' and appeared in it again the year after. They are played by Roy Marsden and Christopher Ryan. Ryan played Mike in 'The Young Ones' and Dave Hedgehog in 'Bottom' Best Bit: DRISCOLL: I want to buy everyone in this pub a drink, now here's a pound and I want change, BOYCIE: Double scotch please Michael.
