Joe Dante's episode of Showtime's Masters of Horror series is a politically barbed twist on "The Monkey's Paw." The corpses of the recent war dead (from an unnamed but unmistakable Middle East campaign) rise up as the incumbent president runs for re-election on his war record and his handlers try to spin the fallout in hysterical media appearances.
