Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Hawkeye calls 20th Century Fox studios to talk to Marilyn Monroe, he pretends to be Ted Williams of the Boston Red Sox. During his charade, he tells "Miss Panama" on the phone that he loved playing for the fans in Left Field, after which time she supposedly hangs up on him because he had made an error about the position that Ted Williams had played. In fact, Ted Williams was a left fielder, making Hawkeye correct. moreSoundtrack:
