The hilarious episode with Jonathan Harris as a swinging 1960s figure, with long hair and a bulky amulet.
No doubt it was detested for its time, to see the youths' lifestyle ridiculed, but now it shows amazingly rare insight into how superficial all the dancing and music really are. Pity it is a message that youth fail to hear.
Even still, this episode showed a solid plot. The aliens wanted Will and Penny because they couldn't age. They needed blood from the Robinson kids to help them age and were going to perform a transfusion, or take the blood against Will and Penny's permission.
Even with all of this, Harris manages to have tremendous fun with the idea that he is a youth-in-training.
In fact, when a diversion is needed so the kids can escape, Will sends Dr. Smith on a precarious mission.
"I hope he doesn't mess it up," Penny says.
"I hope he does," Will counters, hoping Smith's chaos will provide the perfect distraction.
Superb episode from the third season.
