Elegant chaos, 22 January 2009
10/10
Author: Edgewalker from Tuxford, England

Madam, I'm Adam is the blueprint that was never used, a chaotic mix of technology, conspiracy, slapstick and midget wrestlers. It's what most of us assumed The Lone Gunmen would be like when we first heard the whispers. Thomas Schnauz's script is more carefree and loose than some of the more preachy episodes that whilst good, felt like they were dictated from a pulpit. Stephen Tobolowsky looks like someone, somewhere and has the ability to drag every centimetre of humour out of every situation he's thrown into, while Debbie Lee Carrington and David Waterman would make a great double act in a world where things like that happen. Bryan Spicer somehow manages to keep up with the action, no matter how mad it gets and you'll just sit, smile and wonder how chaos can seem so elegant.
