Quotes:
Clark Kent: Lois, I have loved you from the moment I saw you. I love your humor; your passion. The way you dive right in... even when you shouldn't. Because you refuse to just watch the world. You demand that it be a better place, and because of you, it is. And today, I want to give you as much of the world as I can. So I give you my heart, my soul... and our future.[he slips the ring on her finger]
Lois Lane: Clark, you're my best friend. Until I met you, I never had a best friend. And falling in love with you has been so easy, I don't know why I fought it for so long. You have such gentle grace; such quiet strength; but mostly, such incredible kindness. I've never known anyone with as pure a heart. So today, I give you my love, my honor... and our life together.

OK so the tension of the show for the past couple of seasons was will clark and lois ever get married. along the way to resolving that tension every possible thing that could get in the way did and each time it just built it up larger and larger to a point where when they finally got to the wedding it better be the best damn episode in the history of the show. did it deliver? this was the worst episode that the show has ever delivered. for one thing you have a simple threat of some, sorry for herself so i gotta make everyone miserable, wedding crasher who decides to seek revenge on clark and lois for putting her away. this villain is totally flat and doesn't provide the kick in the stakes that this episode needed so very badly. last time they almost got married at least lex luthor was involved which made for some interesting tension and conflict. but this wacked out woman serves about as good of villain as if you were to make alicia silverstone from clueless a villain. then the absolute worst part that was so bad that i kept not being able to pay attention because it made my head hurt was the mike guardian angel story. hey why not have the easter bunny, santa clause, and donald duck at the wedding while we are at it. i feel like i dropped down in my IQ by about 40 points just watching this incredibly dumb idea unfold. it totally ruined the emotion of the wedding. i wanted to see these two get together for four seasons and when they finally do I'm too busy lowering my eyes and rubbing my head to pay attention. i mean it was corny and dumb. having their guardian angel marry them? where the hell did this come from? it was out of no where. still i give the episode a few points because it was good to see these two finally get together and for once be truly happy. plus this episode suffered a lot because of the massive amount of hype it gave itself by putting the wedding off for so long. the writers should have realized that you have to deliver one hell of an amazing episode to make waiting all that time worth it and they didn't. i just kept thinking, i waited four seasons for this?
