When students at W. Charles Akins High School heard a TV show was going to be filmed there, they were originally told it was going to be an episode of the then WB's hit show "One Tree Hill" (2003). It wasn't until production wrapped that they were told it was for a pilot to a new show called "Jack and Bobby"...leading to a huge disappointment due to popularity of "One Tree Hill".
