Dad, 26 August 2006
7/10

Guest star Clifton Powell helps keep "Daddy's Boy" from melting into nothingness. A newly minted Princeton grad develops shocks and convulsions that has the team scrambling for answers. When that answer comes, it is a truly weird one, and "Boy" is as much about the lies we tell our children as it is about the kid's bizarre illness. Powell plays the boy's dad, and he has a lot of guilt to shoulder as the episode unwinds. His reactions to the kid's illness and his scenes with the increasingly sick son make the episode better than it actually is. House continues to moon over his ex-gal pal, the luscious Sela Ward, and frankly I wish he would get over it.
