Hilarious episode!, 19 September 2006

This episode of "Crossing Jordan" was really funny! I don't watch the show regularly so I don't know if it was supposed to be funny (as this show is generally a drama), or just ended up like that (oops!). I think it was meant to be funny.

The incredibly contrived plot involves Woody and Jordan being called out to a remote village to investigate a murder. They arrive at a strange hotel place, which had previously been the site of a gruesome triple-murder, which is quite famous and models of the bodies were set up! Woody and Jordan, along with the local sheriff, have to find out not only who the murderer is, but who the victim is too.

In the hotel there is a motley crew of guests and staff, including a couple of very excited honeymooners, a man with two glass eyes and only six toes, and a Goth kid obsessed with death (played hilariously by Jordan Garrett, who is why I tuned in for this episode in the first place).

Things get even more complicated when Woody and Jordan find themselves snowed in and with only one hotel bed! Jerry O'Connell is incredibly gorgeous so I was secretly hoping that Jordan would get bumped off.

At the same time the rest of the morgue people are back at the morgue investigating the apparent murder of an illegal immigrant with a stolen social security number and bank account, while Jordan's new boyfriend receives counselling from the scary English guy about his relationship with Jordan. Overall an enjoyable episode!
