A man named Malcolm is abducting women with meta-human powers and forcing them to fight in gladiatorial battles to the death. Dinah also becomes frustrated by Huntress constantly holding her back and challenges her to a fight in her anger. The combination of these two plot threads leads to yet another inevitably predictable conclusion.

After two fairly uncharacteristically decent episodes we are back to more familiar territory. The villain of the piece is so annoying that I just wanted to scream every time he opened his mouth to spout off an endless amount of dire-logue. Seriously, if you cannot give your characters any lines worth speaking, then please, just don't give them any lines at all! Having a character constantly pausing his speech for 'dramatic effect' does not make him charismatic. It just makes him annoying and clichéd.

The fight scenes throughout Gladiatrix are also pretty badly choreographed. We see Huntress spinning through the air, sometimes for no other reason than 'it looks cool', without actually using the move for any kind of practical advantage. It looks nice, but so what!

The story itself is terrible. The idea of underground fighting rings has been used in countless other TV series and it is never a good idea. It's just machismo nonsense.
