"Pretty Poison" revolves around beautiful but deadly villain Poison Ivy. She is perhaps my least favorite villain but she's not without interest. I think Catwoman is a better defined character. But it is an entertaining episode. It even has a pro-environmental edge that is perfectly in tuned with modern sensibilities. It's hard to believe Batman cannot figure out the identity of Posison Ivy but that is just a minor complaint from the perspective of an adult. It has plenty of action and Alfred provides great comic relief. The great visuals are fantastic, though. In this episode, the high quality of the animation trumps any quibbles regarding the characters and/or storyline.
