I really don't know if I needed to put "spoiler alert" on here because the big twist of this episode is revealed with 10 minutes to go but, in a nutshell, Tony supposedly is killed but he really isn't. It was made to look like this "female hostile" (terrorist sympathizer and cold- blooded killer) blew herself up, along with Tony, in a car. Even a dimwit like me figured that was not what it seemed, and Jack Bauer figures it out, too. As usual, nobody else at C.T.U. has a clue.
So, once again, the good guys are one step away from getting Marwan as the hostile is convinced - with a Presidential pardon - to give up his location.
Meanwhile, the Chinese, who are made to look really brutal here, have a similar situation and force a C.T.U. agent to admit our boy Jack headed the operation on the Chinese consulate....so they want his scalp.
Everyone always wants to kill or badmouth Jack. Man, this guy should have a complex by now! Well, he only has one more episode to endure. I'm anxious to see what happens but regret the season is almost over. It's been a fun ride.
