Fun Stuff

Trivia:
A valid California phone number can clearly be seen on Debbie's cell phone caller ID (310-597-3781.) Many fans called this number, which turned out to be a live line to a prop phone on the set of the show. Some fans got a voice mail message telling them that they called the 24 prop phone and to leave a message. Others talked to live people, including Production Designer Joseph A. Hodges. Still others claimed that they spoke to stars Kim Raver and Carlos Bernard. Hodges later admitted in an interview that Director Jon Cassar came up with the idea for the "fan phone" because the two of them often got bored scouting new shooting locations and wanted a chance to interact with the audience. Hodges further stated that they received around 80,000 calls on the line during the first week alone. more
Goofs:
Continuity: Jack asks for the local cops to get his vehicle, which he left at the petrol station. It then takes them only a few moments to drive it the distance from the gas station to the location where they picked him up, even though he had spent twenty minutes driving the same stretch of highway at the end of the last episode. more
Quotes:
Erin Driscoll: Took a lot of guts to do what you did.
Chloe O'Brian: I trusted Jack.
Erin Driscoll: A lot of people around here trust Jack, doesn't mean they're gonna risk their careers for him.

Jack Bauer: A One-Man Rescue Team!, 8 November 2007
9/10
Author: ccthemovieman-1 from Lockport, NY, United States

Jack Bauer turns into "Rambo," putting on a one-man siege on the compound where the Secretary of Defense and his daughter are being held hostage. The CTU Director reluctantly watches, now realizing Jack has been right all the way on this mission, so she gives him some slack.

Time is running out and the war crimes "trial" of the government official is about to take place and he will be executed via live feed on the Internet. At the same time, the President of the U.S. has ordered a missile strike on the compound, figuring (actually his aide did) it's better to blow up everyone than have the whole world see the Secretary executed and the U.S. totally humiliated.

Can Jack save the pair in time? That's the key angle of this story.

Meanwhile, inside C.T.U. headquarters, "Chloe," who has been helping Jack, is discovered and is fired and threatened with jail time. Now who can help Jack? Is this the end of Chloe? Meanwhile, suspicious characters, led by "Marianne," continue to abound as this writer tries to figure out who's the "mole." Of course, I may be totally mistaken and there is no traitor.....but there usually is in this show.
