Trivia:
SylviaImports.com, the website Saunders gives to Palmer, is owned by 24 director Rodney Charters. There is only simple text, which reads: Sylviaimports.com A Big Thank-you from the crew of 24. Thanks for watching, we love making it for you, and yes, we did get picked up for Season 4. more
Goofs:
Errors in geography: The helicopter with Jack and his daughter gets to Santa Barbara in about 13 minutes. It's roughly 95.3 miles from L.A. to Santa Barbara, which means they were traveling by helicopter at 430 miles per hour! That's absurdly fast for the helicopter we see them in. more

Chappelle's body is taken by three masked men and Bauer is told not to follow, or the virus will be released.
Meanwhile, the President is under a bit of fire after telling higher ups what is going on, and that he decided to comply with the terrorist's demands. That terrorist, Saunders, threatens to release two vials in big cities if he doesn't get a list of about 45 U.S. spies.
Meanwhile, C.T.U. gets a lead on Saunders' daughter, a student in Santa Barbara, and sends Kim up there to impersonate her so that a switch can be made and the terrorist daughter can be interrogated to see if she knows the whereabouts of her father.
The worst part is that the man who escaped from the Chandler Hotel is spreading the disease around but at least he has been located at the ER of an area hospital. However, he came in contact with people in the drug store and with some ER patients who left. The race is on to find them before a full-scale epidemic occurs.
The ending dramatics involve Kim trying to impersonate Saunders' daughter.
