Under no circumstances should this movie be viewed by humans., 4 August 2007
1/10
Author: brandonlaventure from United States

From beginning to end, there was no evidence that the actors were aware that they were being filmed. This is a movie about a girl clipping her toenails, shaving her armpits, sitting on a bed, and eating. Mostly eating. The viewer is expected to identify with a character (I use the term loosely) without being presented with any motivation, back story, or anything remotely identifiable. The apparent objective of artfulness through minimalist representation achieves nothing more than 94 minutes devoid of anything enjoyable. Within the first twenty minutes, it becomes clear that the mundane details of the last days of a suicide bomber's life are still mundane, leaving the viewer with an hour of nothing to think about but a desire to leave. My favorite part was when she bought two huge pretzels when one would have sufficed. She ate both of them, though. I was surprised.
