So beautiful; more amazing action/fantasy from Young-jun Kim

Korean Sword Fantasy cinema is shaping up to be some of my favourite in film today, This is only the second film by this director (his other being Bichunmoo) and both represent the pinnacle of this genre. The standard in the fighting sequences is extremely high and they have a refreshing original style. The wire work is almost immaculate, making the actors movements look wonderfully crisp and believable.

But the narrative is great too, as it develops becoming more captivating through the connection between each characters story. And it has to be said that the beauty of the two lead actresses is just astonishing, which makes there already alluring performances even more delightful to watch. As well, it is the contrast of their delicate emotions and their powerful abilities that helps bring mystery and wonder to this type of martial arts story. Any fans of Fantasy/martial arts cinema are most sure to find this exceptional viewing, I for one truly hope there are more films of this nature in the future especially ones with endings like this; incredible.
