"They say it takes two minutes and twenty five seconds for a prayer to reach God..." is the major theme in this short piece about a man who kills his wife and then, once he's overcome with grief, prays for forgiveness while he sits in his bathtub, ready to slit his wrists. I found it hard to sympathize with this man, who in my mind, is obviously a coward. Anyone who considers this route obviously is. In a quest to escape justice, the man believes that by repenting his life will be made easier, but it's not that simple. Death claims him, and we are left putting this aside, feeling no better or no worse than we felt when we started it. The piece is rather aimless; clocking in at about three minutes in length, there isn't too much to watch and listen to except this killer's constant bemoaning while messy images of his wife and himself in happier times and the bitter reality of his death, blood spurts and all cloud the screen. Overall, this one fails. Not great, and it definitely does not bring anything new to this sort of predicament, of which we read about in the news quite frequently. There may be a million stories just like this one, but this one is certainly not that interesting.
