Trivia:
Ted Dekker, author of the novel, was on set nearly every shooting day. In many cases he put three lines into the shot as an homage to the book cover. While some of these lines are drawn on walls and such, they also show up as objects (chalk, pencils, etc...).

Goofs:
Errors in geography: The film is set in America, but the taxi in one shot got a typical Polish taxi-symbol on the top.

This movie was so intense, so fast-paced, that me and all my friends were mentally exhausted when we walked out of it. We all agreed that it's not one of those movies that you'd watch at a slumber party, or even twice in the theater, at any rate. The movie kept you constantly on the edge of your seat, what with things blowing up and stuff popping out at you. I loved the movie for it, though. It was really wonderfully done, an excellent adaption of the book. It is not for the faint of heart, though. It would've probably given my grandma a heart attack or something, whereas I was just jumping in my seat a lot. I would recommend this movie for anyone who likes suspense-filled or action-packed films. It is a must-see for any Ted Dekker fans, such as me. The acting itself was nothing to sing Hallelujah about, but the actors did a decent job. Although low-budget, this film was very, very well put together. The film makers remained very faithful to the book, with a few very minor deviations. There were even a few minors details that I thought would be left out, but were still included in the movie, which made me happy. The ending was superbly done. Of all the movie, I was most worried that they would botch the ending, but they pulled it off, almost exactly as I had imagined it happening. All in all, I was very pleased with how the movie turned out. It was well worth my 7 dollars to go see it.
