I was not impressed at all

I love Tim Roth who I know always wanted to work with Coppola, but i don't know whats happening with these old directors, the very ones i have always admired. I mean is this really the same guy who did "Apocalypse now" and who brought us "The Godfather"? This film definitely did not trigger any new chords the way his old stuff used to(Coppola).It just did not keep me. I found it a bit of a try hard, and those scenes in Malta were very unconvincing. All this trying hard to be deep with nothing really to say. i don't know, I don't like it. I was warned about this one, i did not listen, and now I am warning you, this is one boring film, no really.
