Fun Stuff

Goofs:

Continuity: Walker senses something is wrong because the clerk in room 86 doesn't blink. Phillips confirms that the aliens never blink. But there are scenes showing some of them blinking; for example, when the alien queen/Liz Quinlan is yelling at her drones, she blinks several times; Dalton also blinks in this scene, but not as obviously. more

this is a really good TV mini-series.it starts off really slow though.but once it gets going,it really improves.you get little hints at a time of what's happening,so you really get hooked.for an alien invasion movie, this one is low key and on a lower scope.this is not a criticism, and if you watch the movie, you'll know what i mean.i really got caught up in this thing.the special effects are not spectacular, but they aren't bad enough to take away from the movie.believe me,there are a lot worse in that dept.the strong part of this movie is the story and the acting of Daryl Hannah.she puts in a very strong performance in this movie.as for the story itself, while it may not be wholly unique, it is well written and well paced.the only thing i was disappointed in is the ending.it wasn't a bad ending, but it just seemed anti-climatic and not that realistic.otherwise,a very good movie.i highly recommend it.for me,"Final Days of Planet Earth" is an 8/10
