 -  Italian restaurant they eat at is called "Bella Notte", movie song from Lady and the Tramp.
Sleeping Beauty (1959)
 -  In the climax, Queen Narissa transforms into a dragon-like beast, the same as Maleficent doing the same in this movie. In an opening scene, when Prince Edward is overcome with love for Giselle, he picks up the portly Nathaniel and does an awkward dance with him. The scene is reminiscent to Prince Philip doing a similar move with his father, King Hubert.
Mary Poppins (1964)

The Little Mermaid (1989)
 -  In the opening, when Prince Edward hears Giselle sing, he announces that he "must find that voice," the same way Prince Eric does when he hears Ariel sing. Sam, the legal secretary is played by Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel in "The Little Mermaid." As Giselle looks at the fish tank, music from "The Little Mermaid" can be heard in the background.
Beauty and the Beast (1991)
 -  Robert's costume at the ball is similar to that of the Beast's dancing costume. Also the soap opera stars Paige O'Hara, the voice of Belle, and the soap opera's background music is the title song and the scene itself is similar to the bandaging scene. Also, the dance steps and the sweeping camera moves during the ballroom dance (i.e. the chandelier) are the same camera angles that are used in Beauty and the Beast during their dance together.
